Public bug reported:
Trying to update to today's update-grub-legacy-ec2 causes my unattended
installs to fail.
Running:
14.04 latest AMI: ami-968ad1fe
apt-get -y -q update
apt-get -y -q upgrade
dpkg.log says:

ps -ewf shows that an update choice is being thrown:
