Same problem here, and my wifi connexion doesn't work any more (wpa-psk).
I had to plus a cable to get an internet connexion. I tried to "manually" connect to my ap but without any success iwconfig eth1 essid MyAP key MyKey network-manager_0.6.5-0ubuntu11_amd64 I have nothing in the systray and no network-manager process running.
