Public bug reported:
Laptop: Samsung
OS: Xubuntu Trusty
(xcfe 4.12 dev ppa NOT ENABLED)
Since upgrading xfce4-power-manager to 1.2.0-3ubuntu4.1 (Trusty Updates)
my laptop has started suspending when the lid is closed. I have it set
to no nothing but the setting in power manager is being ignored.
It is like the problem when Trusty was first released.
At first I thought it was a problem with kernel updates but I rolled
back to one that works fine and the problem persists.
Finally, I downgraded xfec4-power-manager to 1.2.03ubuntu-4 and the
behaviour returned to normal. It is working correctly with the latest
kernels too.
