I am on 14.04 LTS and have exactly the same problem. Works fine for some undetermined amount of time, but then several processes seem to freeze and the message ieee80211 phy0: rt2x00usb_vendor_request: Error - vendor request 0x07 failed for offset 0x308c with error -110 (the offset is slightly different than the reporter's, but otherwise identical). The message seems to be printed every 50 seconds.
I am using an old 54Mbit USB wifi dongle. In between these requests, when the error has occured, I also sometimes get: ieee80211 phy0: rt2x00usb_regbusy_read: Error - Indirect register access failed: offset=0x0000308c, value=0xffff8800. If I use bittorrent, the problem seems to occur much faster after a reboot, as the reporter suggested. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1388416 Title: rt2x00usb_vendor_request: Error - vendor request * failed for offset * with error -110 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1388416/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
