Public bug reported:

I'm running Vivid some time now, and it worked fine.

Now I upgraded to 2:1.17.1-0ubuntu2, and the performance in xfreerdp (RDP
software) dropped like hell. Its just useless at this moment.
Every action done in the program makes Xorg spike to +80-90% cpu.

Now after a downgrade to the previous version of xserver
(2:1.16.2.901-1ubuntu4), everything works fine again.
Upgrade to 2:1.17.1-0ubuntu1, and its broken again.

So it seems like there is a quite serious regression between those versions.
