I got this same problem reporting this morning after update. I followed Brian's
unstruction, yes I have python debian installed:
ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-cache policy python-debian
[sudo] password for paulw:
python-debian:
Installed: 0.1.22ubuntu1
Candidate: 0.1.22ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 0.1.22ubuntu1 0
500 http://au.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ utopic/main amd64 Packages
