Same for me with Geforce 730m. Both 346 and 340 are no longer working on my Lenovo Ideapad. 331 worked fine on Ubuntu 14.10 (apart from the annoying reconfiguring after each kernel update). I've completely removed and reinstalled the nvidia drivers but unity fails to load. Nouveau drivers work fine but I'm doing some stuff with CUDA, so I have to rely on the Nvidia drivers. Is there a way to downgrade to 331 for the time being? I've also tried to manually install the drivers from the Nvidia homepage but the problems prevail.
