Hello Christopher, thanks for the mail. It took me one week to reply since I wanted to make some tests with different wifi.
I upgraded the BIOS: sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date A06 11/07/2014 Then, due to a business travel I tested the laptop in several situations. The outcome is a little bit surprising for me in the sense that there is a strong improvement but the problem is not totally solved yet while I expected a stationary situation or the complete solution of it. It now connects very nicely to my home wifi and to my smart-phone hot spot (it didn't before). It connected to the wifi of a couple of airports but I experiences problems with EUDORAM (the academic network). So, let me say 8 out of 10 worked fine. Thanks for your help, I'm a little bit unsure on how to proceed, g. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1426259 Title: Dell XPS13 regularly loses connection/becomes unusable on Intel 7260 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1426259/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
