gtk-window-decorator can be reliably crashed by opening 'Cities: Skylines' from Steam. It gives the following output when run from a terminal and crashed: (gtk-window-decorator:13457): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'gtk-window-decorator' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 8158 error_code 8 request_code 62 (core protocol) minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
The system runs fine without the decorator running, and I am using Compiz as my window manager in Xubuntu 14.10. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1266572 Title: gtk-window-decorator crashes randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1266572/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
