Public bug reported:

I had this contents in my /etc/aliases before setting up Monit:

root: myn...@myserver.com

After installing Monit, I ceased to receive mail sent to root. I looked
at /etc/aliases and the contents where:

monit: root

My line was not there anymore. Does Monit setup OVERWRITE /etc/aliases
instead of adding it's line...?

Thank you
