Public bug reported: I had this contents in my /etc/aliases before setting up Monit:
root: myn...@myserver.com After installing Monit, I ceased to receive mail sent to root. I looked at /etc/aliases and the contents where: monit: root My line was not there anymore. Does Monit setup OVERWRITE /etc/aliases instead of adding it's line...?
