I've the same issue: "Calibre won't launch". Since I've the
kubuntu-ppa-ubuntu-next-backports-utopic enabled the installed version of
calibre is "2.5.0+dfsg-1ubuntu1p" Follows what it appens at the prompt line
command:
~$ LCALL=C calibre
python2.7: siplib.c:11980: sipEnumType_alloc: asserzione
"(((currentType)->td_flags & 0x0007) == 0x0003)" non riuscita.
Annullato (core dump creato)
running calibre as superuser I got:
~$ xhost +
access control disabled, clients can connect from any host
~$ su -
