Public bug reported:
I just wanted a simple proxy, so I ran
tcpwatch-httpproxy -p 10.0.0.19:8080 -s > /dev/null
(On a machine that also has a real IP)
Then I started some downloads running from another computer, and later
noticed tcpwatch-httpproxy was using 1.6GB of RAM. That might be the
full amount of data I transfered through it, with http.
ps aux | grep tcpwatch-http
peter 24578 2.6 42.2 1749872 1711508 pts/1 S+ 06:59 17:37 python
/usr/bin/tcpwatch-httpproxy -p 10.0.0.19:8080 -s
I later found tinyproxy, and plan to use that in future, since it's
better suited for the task.
