I have a Dell Inspiron 6400:
Intel Core Duo 1.73ghz.
2 GB RAM.
ATi Mobility X1400.
Intel IPW3945 wireless card.
I can't suspend (or hibernate for that matter) at all. I have tried this
with the fglrx driver given by default in gutsy (8.37) and the newest
driver (8.41). In both cases, the suspend process seems to go all the
way except to the end; the power light does not begin slowly pulsing and
the fan stays on; the screen still looks a little bit eerily green.
