With Nemo 2.4.5 and Mint 17.1, Nemo does not ignore ALL input, but most. Possible is: - access Keyboard shortcuts from the menu, i.e. hit F2 to begin renaming a file - when typing to the Path-Line, Nemo will see a keystroke (it will do path completion, i.e. by applying "/" to the path), but it won’t accept the characters
Not possible is: - typing in characters, except avoiding upper case letters all the time !? I tried to find some connection between the characters I'm typing and the failure of Nemo... I can type and rename files and folders without any problem, as long as I do not use any modifier keys (like Shift). This will lead to the error most of the time, but sometimes I can rename a few files with upper case letters in their names and it will not cause any problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1270373 Title: Nemo allows only one file rename (in list view) per login session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/1270373/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
