Perhaps it is a known bug? When I run my t440p ubuntu/mate 14.04 and switch to
the intel (power saving mode), then
there is "instant death" when I close the lid. As far as log files go, there is
no output to any of them.
NB: In the Nvidia (performance mode) sleep and wakeup work perfectly.
NB: It is NOT the bug of crashing at wakeup.
Let me know what to test, send,...
