[See next comment, this probably redundant.] After upgrading to the kernel that works on first use I opened synaptic and without doing anything I got a crash report:
Sorry, a problem occurred while installing software. Package: linux-kernel-image-extra-3.19.0-13-generic 3.19.0-13-13 I assume this is just a relic from an update problem I had (No space on device /boot) pre-boot (and opening synaptic didn't trigger the dialog box). Since I got "No space" (and from memory image-extra not mentioned ,but might have been also) I reinstalled all kernel related after freeing space first. It seemed to go well. I assume I can ignore this "error". At least I do not see a problem so far (not sure if extra is needed or what it's for exactly..) When closing the dialog just now I got: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/798414 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1441891 Title: Can't login after upgrade to 15.04 on Dell Inspiron 1525 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1441891/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
