My mouse cursor has been flickering and disappearing. On a previous ubuntu
version I had fixed this by following the following steps:

I sort of forget about it, but it happened again after installing 15.04, and
luckily the same fix helped. The problem seems to happen everywhere in the GUI,
but for example flash in firefox seems to increase the problem, until the point
where the whole cursor is lost.
don't know what's causing this, or even which package causes this, but
disabling the unknown monitor helps for sure. After disabling the cursor is
solid again.
