I am confirming this bug. Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 x64 running in VirtualBox 4.3.26 (host OS is Windows). VM specs are 1024 MB RAM, 1 CPU (out of 8 cores on Xeon CPU), hardware acceleration enabled.
