Public bug reported:
Hello,
I used my (up to date) BQ phone for playing music and videos (using apps and
the browser). One day ago i turned the silent mode on for a short period of
time afterwords I switched back to normal mode.
What works:
the silent mode gets turned on and off.
(gdbus call -y -d org.freedesktop.Accounts -o
/org/freedesktop/Accounts/User32011 -m org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties.Get
com.ubuntu.touch.AccountsService.Sound SilentMode prints false and true
depending on the mode).
My phone rings depending on the state.
What does not work:
- since I switched silent mode on for the first time (and switched it of
later), the phone does not play any sound (except ring tone).
- Rebooting the system didn't help. Still there is no sound.
* since I experienced the issue two hours after switching the silent
mode on an off, I cannot be certain that the issue is related to the
silent mode, but i guess it is.
