Looking at this further there was an issue trying to upgrade click:

Preparing to unpack .../click_0.4.21.1_amd64.deb ...
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
dpkg: warning: subprocess old pre-removal script returned error exit status 139
dpkg: trying script from the new package instead ...
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/click_0.4.21.1_amd64.deb
(--unpack):
subprocess new pre-removal script returned error exit status 139

** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 1241893
dpkg tries to configure a package that failed during the unpack stage

** Package changed: dpkg (Ubuntu) => click (Ubuntu)
