Yep, one machine, three kernels. I didn't have /etc/default/openipmi since I don't have the openipmi package installed. I tried installing it and flipping those off, also I tried blacklisting ipmi_si and ipmi_devintf. Unfortunately, there was no change.
I can install and post logs for just about anything on this machine that's needed to help resolve the issue. I also tried the final 4.0 kernel, and it behaves the same as the earlier 4.0-rc5 kernel I tried, so I updated the tags. ** Tags removed: kernel-bug-exists-upstream-4.0-rc5 ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream-4.0 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1434581 Title: Console extremely slow with 3.13 and newer kernels for certified servers with Matrox G200er2 or similar To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1434581/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
