Public bug reported:
to reproduce dd the vivid alternate amd64 420 iso to a usb stick then
try to select the usb external hard drive to install on the entire disc
which is not given as an option but the flash drive of the installer is
listed as an option.
Lubuntu 15.04 "Vivid Vervet" - Release amd64 (20150420)
I expected to be able to install to the entire external hard disc. Instead I
could only install to the ssd in the laptop or the flash drive I booted the
alternate installer from. I will be attached other debug logs as you cannot
launch ubuntut-bug from debian-installer .
