- okay, here are my supportinformation with compositing enabled:

-> took me quite a while to get there, qdbus had various time outs (when
running in the plasma-session), thus I wasn't able to retrieve any info.
qdbusviewer did hang as well, while the rest was responsive, so no complete
freeze, just qdbus, this might be another symptom or completely unrelated.). i
used "kwin_x11 --replace" in a xfce-session to be able to use qdbus.
- and the environment variables don't seem to trigger any effect. i
still get completes freezes.
i could try to give you the gdb output, if that's of any help.
