My latest kernel installed after upgrading from 14.10 to 15.04 is: linux-image-3.19.0-15-generic
To boot properly into that one, I have to use the safe mode and then resume as described in this bug report. It works, but then my second screen isn't enabled. I noticed when I boot into an earlier kernel, there are no problems, for instance: linux-image-3.16.0-34-generic Booting in this kernel, gives me a proper working screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1447978 Title: After update from 14.10 to 15.04 boot stops at black screen displaying "Starting version 219" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1447978/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
