This is fixed in the upstream 3.19.1 kernel by the following commit:

    Toshiba Satellite S50D laptop with an IDT codec uses the GPIO4
(0x10) as the master EAPD.

Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet currently has a kernel based on the 3.19.3
upstream kernel.

This patch is also in the upstream 3.18.9 kernel.
