Idid an upgrade from 14.04.2to 14.10 and somehow the upgrade was broken got some error messages there ,however went on to 15.04 but when done i could not log in to ubuntu.. So in with the dvd install medium and chosed the amazing option (try to keep your files and reinstall) succes but when reinstalling steam no launch so apport created this bug for me.heres the solution for me on steam (or workaround) . Thank you user22153 at askubuntu. My son will be happy on mondayevening..
