Public bug reported:

If you have paired your phone with a device that is no longer listed as
a supported device type, which is a corner case, it's not possible to
disconnect.

When we request to disconnect a device, we check the device type and
refuse to actually disconnect the device if it isn't listed as a
supported device type.  We should go ahead and honor the request to
disconnect, because you can only get into this code path if the device
was actually connected.

This should only affect users with devices that had paired before we
changed our list of supported types.
