When a user is developing a scope on Vivid:
Expected behavior:
1) User sets CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debug, runs cmake, and builds with the Desktop
compiler.
2) User sets a few breakpoints of interest.
2) User runs the scope in debug mode (i.e. "Start Debugging").
3) Scope runs, and break points are hit.
Actual behavior:
1) User sets CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debug, runs cmake, and builds with the Desktop
compiler.
2) User sets a few breakpoints of interest.
2) User runs the scope in debug mode (i.e. "Start Debugging").
3) Scope runs, but no break points are hit!
Note that the Application Output includes "Warning: GDB: Failed to set
controlling terminal: Inappropriate ioctl for device."
