Public bug reported:
I have had this problem intermittently with earlier releases of Ubuntu (I did a
clean install of 14.10 but it didn't fix it).
With 15.04, Banshee has *never* displayed the menu bar ("File Edit ... Tools
Help" - I can't remember exactly what it says).
This problem still happens whether I ask for the menu bar to be shown in the
desktop title bar, or the window title bar in Settings - Appearance.
This means I can't do a re-scan of my music and pick up any tracks added
while Banshee wasn't running - effectively making Banshee unusable by
me. Expected behaviour: display the menu bar
Banshee release is 2.9.0+really2.6.2-2ubuntu4
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help find out what's
going wrong.
Hope you can help!! thanks in anticipation.
