Public bug reported:

I'm working on a Asus A6k laptop. After upgrading to Gutsy the applet
network-admin began having problems even after several upgrades. To get
into my wireless network I have to reboot twice as the first time I boot
it doesn't configure the wireless card (Intel Pro Wireless 2200) , so I
have to configure it myself choosing the SSID and specifying the DHCP
option. After the first reboot it finds the network but I've to specify
that I want the Roaming mode enabled. At last it makes me enter. I start
with the last Gutsy generic kernel version (by the way, i386 version
hasn't the modules ipw2200).

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
