I am just as confused to some extent, however I'm of the opinion that
the problem exists because of this new 2.02~Beta Grub which was auto
loaded a few days ago. I was using Trusty Tahr 14.04.1 but after the
recent update it updated my laptop to version 14.04.2 and along with it
came this new Beta Grub which not is working at all. They need to get
back and fix this issue a.s.a.p. I believe that they should not send out
Beta versions of anything until they know it's stable to release to the
public as most of us using Ubuntu are far from being IT Geeks with OPEN
SOURCE SOFTWARE even as good as it is most of the time.

Cheers.........Frustrated Ubuntu User........... who doesn't like MS at
all.
