Public bug reported:
The systemd KCM won't start after installation, as shown below:
➜ antonis@ira ~ kcmshell5 systemd
kf5.kservice.sycoca: Trying to open ksycoca from "/home/antonis/.cache/ksycoca5"
kf5.kiconthemes: "Theme tree: (Breeze)"
Error loading plugin "kcm_systemd" "The shared library was not found."
Plugin search paths are ("/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins", "/usr/bin")
The environment variable QT_PLUGIN_PATH might be not correctly set
Error loading plugin: "The shared library was not found."
➜ antonis@ira ~
A temporary workaround is:
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins/kcm_systemd.so
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/kcm_systemd.so
after which the KCM can start properly.
