Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kernel-image-2.6.22-11-generic-di

As of this morning's Gutsy updates (Sept 20) my system is hard-locking
every three or four minutes. The alt-sysreq sequence is ignored, so I
have to force a power-down and reboot. The following syslog messages
appear just before each crash:

Sep 20 08:52:45 synapse kernel: [ 39.552000] Uhhuh. NMI received for unknown
reason b1 on CPU 0.
Sep 20 08:52:45 synapse kernel: [ 39.552000] You have some hardware problem,
likely on the PCI bus.
Sep 20 08:52:45 synapse kernel: [ 39.552000] Dazed and confused, but trying
to continue

network lists.

error received: org.freedesktop.NetworkManagerInfo.NoNetworks - There are no
wireless networks stored..

Sep 20 08:57:05 synapse ntpd[5980]: kernel time sync status change 0001

The kernel is 2.6.22-11-generic (SMP). The problem doesn't appear to
occur with 2.6.22-10.

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.22 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
