Public bug reported:

When installing Ubuntu Server 14.04.2 in a VirutalBox virtual machine
the installer hangs on man-db (amd64) configuration.

Steps to reproduce the error:
Set up a VM in Virutalbox with the following settings (see attachment for
details of the VM)

4GB RAM
2x VDI virutal drives (8GB & 16GB)
VideoRAM 128
NAT network
90% CPU execution cap

Install Ubuntu
*Encrypted LVM on the first drive
** (weird that you can't choose both drives in the installer, but that's
besides the point)
SSH
LAMP
MAIL

Ubuntu Server starts installing but when it gets to man-db (amd64) is
being configured the entire installer hangs to a complete lockup. (see
the kernel trace on tty5 attachment and the screenshot of the installer
hang)

What should have happend?
- The installer should have finished and reboot so I could continue to
configure my system.

** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: hang installer server

** Attachment added: "these are the detailed settings of the virutal machine"
