Thanks, I found the PPA already. I probably wouldn't need the latest version otherwise, but it's in Arch and it appears that with LAN-.calls the latest version and Ubuntu version are incompatible as calls don't go through and neither do IMs. When I upgraded from that PPA, everything worked.
