Some important points to add to my previous post: 1) This worked for me. However there is NO GUARANTEE that it will work for you, hence, point 2)
2) If you don't have a fresh installation, BACK UP YOUR DATA before any attempt at playing with your partitions. I have a couple of "scars" that show I'm damn right :-) 3) Be particularly careful when you edit /etc/crypttab . Change ONLY the cryptswap1 line.
