There is no benefit of running fstrim or secure  erase your SSD does not
have impact. The problem lies in the firmware advertising (but not
supporting) queued TRIM. And this will not go away magically by doing a
secure erase. The problem will reappear  the next time you delete a file
(if you have discard enabled)
