A workaround is to use xfreerdp from command line and specify local
drive to share with /drive option.

An example:
xfreerdp /v:servername /u:username /drive:data,/home/user/data /bpp:24 
/monitors:1 /clipboard /sound:sys:alsa +fonts +aero /size:1600x1200
