Hi Christopher, Can you try installing the latest hplip-3.15.4 using hplip-3.15.4.run file by downloading it from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/gethplip.html. Run command 'sh hplip-3.15.4.run' in terminal to install. Delete the existing print queue for this printer in Ubuntu 15.04 server and reconfigure the print queue using command 'hp-setup -i ' and run command 'hp-testpage -i' in terminal at server side and let us know if you are able to print the testpage from server. Also can you run command 'hp-levels -i -g' and provide its output here.
