Public bug reported:
Cannot install Ardour via "Add/Remove Applications".
Steps to reproduce:
1. go to Applications > Add/Remove...
2. search for "Ardour"
3. mark the check box near "Ardour GTK2" to install the app
4. the check box stays unmarked
The Ardour is still installable over Synaptic Package Manager
System:
Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) testing release, up to date.
