Henry Zing, I'm glad you were able to apply the BIOS update and that you confirmed that this is a major problem for both of us. I think we both realize this is not a BIOS issue and Canonical needs to back out the change(s) that led to this report. I can't run a BIOS update as HP's utility is Windows based and I removed Windows on Day 1. This is something that I'd imagine quite a few Ubuntu users do, why would we want to run Windows again?
