Public bug reported:

Calendar events show no notification which makes them really easy to
miss. Only a heads-up notification is shown which also vanishes after a
short time.

What I expected to happen:
-set a reminder via "Reminder" or "Calender" app
-an alarm goes off at the set time
-a notification will be visible in the notification area stating time, date and
title of the calendar event

What happened instead:
-set a reminder via "Reminder" or "Calender" app
-an alarm goes off at the set time
-no notification is shown
