Christopher, BIOS now updated.
$ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date A07 03/03/2015 No change. On boot, system hangs at the login screen. Found Logitech Quickcam connected to external Linksys USB hub, model USBHUB04. Moved Logitech Quickcam to onboard USB port.
