Hi trialotto, Could you confirm what version of cloud-init you are using? Recent versions detect when a reformatted ephemeral disk is presented and will always reformat it (I have just confirmed this with an Ubuntu trusty instance).
Also, "ResourceDisk.Format=y" only allows you to specify a single partition to create; cloud-init allows you to configure the disk how you want. :) Dan -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1374166 Title: Document how to add swap space on Azure resource disk To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloud-init/+bug/1374166/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
