We were dependent on the updated versions of avconv to correct this Bug.
I did look into packaging the latest version from upstream which would
correct this issue, but that turned out to be significantly more complex
then I anticipated.
However, I returned to testing the again using Kdenlive packaged for
Kubuntu 15.04 and I am delighted to say that it is now rendering with
audio correctly.
Thus I am closing this Bug.
