Public bug reported:
When connecting for the first time to a wifi network while being
connected to a GSM network, the indicator does not change its icon to
show the wifi connection state.
Even while being connected to the wifi network the indicator still shows
(3G, or H) for the GSM network. Pulling down on the indicator shows the
proper wifi connection but just not the icon.
The icon sometimes eventually changes to the correct state after a few
minutes.
