You are saying that you have a problem with the Cisco AnyConnect client, and you are also saying that you are not having the problem with vpnc. Why is this bug filed against the vpnc package then, is that in error, do you want to reassign it to another package or should I close it as invalid?
AnyConnect is a non-free software from Cisco and I am not sure where you installed that from - it doesn't seem to be part of the ordinary Ubuntu repositories, so my suggestion would be to direct yourself to the providing party, or the administrators of the AnyConnect vpn server you are connecting with. Additionally, please note that the free alternative to AnyConnect is the openconnect package. vpnc is an implementation of a different kind of vpn technology and does not speak the same protocol. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1462177 Title: vpnc passively consumes data To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vpnc/+bug/1462177/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
