Public bug reported:
To reproduce run the standard install testcase for ubuntu server and try
to select and install software selecting nothing at tasksel. Then the
red screen will come up saying nothing can be installed. However if you
select manged package selectoin and hit ! to install nothing the install
wiill finsih I will attach the syslog and other things.
