Public bug reported:
The toolbar buttons in the gtk2 version of xournal are quite small,
considering that the software is directed to touchscreen/tablet use.
While you may need a stylo anyways for writing, it may happen from time
to time you also try to use the finger for interacting with the document
or for reaching a button.
Hence a View option to change button size (and to customize to show only
those buttons you use) would be good.
Apart from that, modern devices often have higher-than-traditional
resolutions (3200×1800 or bigger) which makes the UI even harder to use
with a stylo. A port to resolution-independent gtk3 (or QML) with the
benefit of touch interactions like swipe and pinch would really make the
difference.
