Since 2010 the exelearning.net community, with the support of Spanish Ministry of Education among other institutions and contributors, has forked and rekindled the development. The server is in Python, built upon the Twisted framework, with the aid of Nevow and Formless libraries. Convenience copies of those are shipped with the upstream package. Other libraries are required as external dependencies, all of which are already available in Ubuntu repositories. The client component is built in HTML + Javascript, with ExtJS.
